Edward K. Christian President, CEO, and Chairman
Edward K. Christian, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman since Saga Communications, Inc.’s inception in 1986, is known as a pioneer in the radio broadcasting industry. From 1977 to 1986, Mr. Christian served as Executive Vice President and subsequently as President of Josephson Communications. From 1974 to 1977, he served as Vice President and General Manager of WNIC-FM in Detroit until the station was purchased by Josephson Communications. Mr. Christian holds a BA from Wayne State University and an MA in Management from Central Michigan University.

Gary G. Stevens Lead Director
Gary Stevens is President and Owner of Gary Stevens & Co., a leading provider of brokerage, valuation and consulting services to the broadcasting industry. He began his career as a radio personality, culminating at WMCA in New York City. Subsequently, he spent 16 years with Doubleday & Co., the last eight as President and CEO of its broadcast subsidiary, with radio stations in such markets as New York, Chicago, and Washington, DC. Mr. Stevens has served on the boards of several public companies as well as the board of the National Association of Broadcasters, the Radio Advertising Bureau and the Electronic Media Ratings Council. Mr. Stevens attended the University of Miami. Mr. Stevens has been a board member of Saga Communications, Inc. since 1995.
Clarke R. Brown Jr.
Mr. Brown joined Jefferson-Pilot Communications as an Account Executive at WQXI-AM/FM in 1967. He continued his career with these stations in Atlanta where he earned the position of General Sales Manager and in 1983 was made an Assistant Vice President. In 1985 Mr. Brown was made General Manager of KSON-AM/FM, in San Diego, and in 1989 was put in charge of the company's Denver radio stations before returning to WQXI-AM/FM in Atlanta as Senior Vice President and General Manager the following year. In 1991 Mr. Brown was appointed President of the Radio Division while continuing his General Manager duties at WQXI-AM/FM. In 1993 he assumed full management responsibilities for all Jefferson-Pilot Communications radio properties including Miami, San Diego, Denver, Charlotte and Atlanta. Saga Communications, Inc. does not own any broadcasting properties in these markets.

W. Russell Withers Jr.
President, founder and owner of Withers Broadcasting Companies since 1973. Former Chairman of the Radio Board of National Association of Broadcasters (2007-2008).
